Hi: We were in bed reading last night about 10:00

, listening to the pouring rain on the skylight and the wind howling. steel compactor 20 feet down the deck into the south railing, toppled a huge redwood tree, about 30 in. across the road and through the PG&E wires, blew the flag off the flagpole and closed down power in Big Sur. Even my generator wouldn't work until now. Had over two inches of rain in a couple hours. This is why I like winter down here.
