It all started with a dream, a whole lot of fear, and one hell of a support system.
In 2006 I was handed one of the sweetest gifts imaginable. Being an entrepreneur, was definitely not what I thought I’d be when I “grew up”. Growing up dyslexic, I placed a lot of limitations on myself. Thankfully, those very limitations shifted when I entered “the real world” I began to believe that I was capable of achieving anything I put my heart & soul into.
The highs never come without moments of failures. And the failures were often times the greatest gifts. I’ve had the pleasure of working along side some of the most talented, courageous, and strong human beings. The journey has taught me that giving up is NEVER an option. Hard work comes with great sacrifice. The sacrifices open doors to opportunities that will be life changing. I’ve wanted to give up and throw in the shovel some years. There have been spells when I felt I couldn’t possibly burden another f%*king second of being a small business owner and trying to balance a personal life. It’s in those very moments that I’m reminded of the gifts I’ve been given. How God damn grateful I’m for the opportunity. This life I’ve chosen has not been easy, but it has been one hell of a beautiful and equally messy ride. I wouldn’t change a f%*king thing! I absolutely love being a steward of the land and teaching, coaching, and consulting other, to do the same. Life is beyond beautiful if we just take a moment to slow down and let it soak in.
