I love my little mobile unit! I've been perfecting a way to bring my workshop to the home of my clients. It's not always the best way to get the work done but I'm glad it works!

How many projects do YOU have in your home that need to be taken care of? As for me, I can’t even count them. This hole was created from a leak upstairs. I don’t remember how many months ago but I do know it was during the winter months!

Did you know that you can't just buy a few pieces of vinyl siding? It took some patience but I was able to find someone with extras who was selling them on Facebook Marketplace. What a blessing! Now he has less waste laying around in his garage and I won't have 3/4 of a brand new box left over after my siding repair job next week.

Keeping up with all things outdoors can be overwhelming! From smooshed mess to proper drainage, this downspout can now bring rainwater away from the home it's attached to.

People often ask me how I got into handiwork. The answer is complicated but the beginning is simple. My parents are handy! From there, I just decided to teach myself things as life throws things at me. Re-screening is something I've never tried before and thanks to a client, I now know how! I told her I had never done it before but you have to start somewhere, am I right? So here it is! It was even easier than I had pictured :)

Oh, those pesky little drywall projects! It's hard to push yourself to work on them. I'm the same, but I'm always happy to do them for other people. Make that make sense!

I love it when I get a surprise like this one! This free-to-me table ended up with scratches (totally my fault) so I figured I'd lightly sand it and put a new clear coat over it but I quickly found the most beautiful finish right under the finish. It was already a really nice table. Removing the dark stain has shown the true glory. Look at all of the different pieces that went into this table!!

Okay, this is a silly one! Yesterday I was sorting a new puzzle to put together when I realized it was too big for my puzzle table. I was going to have to use the kitchen counter instead. The problem with that was that my counter was filled with seedlings waiting to be planted outside. The problem with that was that I needed to build planter boxes. So I made planter boxes! I love using leftover wood for the smaller projects. I will be painting them the same color I plan to paint the trim on our house. For now, I have counter space to do my puzzle and my seedlings have a nice home outside!
