Al's Eternal Zinnia Project

Al's Eternal Zinnia Project Al's Eternal Zinnia Project is in memory of my Dad, Al Barnett. Please plant, grow, and share!

For anyone that asks, as long as I can keep up, I will send you seeds that I have harvested from his last planting of zinnias.

Seeds are packed and headed out! Inside your envelope will be another small brown pocket with the seeds (shown here). I usually plant in early spring, after the last frost, and sometimes in June for some late bloomers. I did plant a few last week and they did pop up (see pic below). So, it's up to you! They like full sun and lots of water in the beginning until they are established plants.
Thanks to all of you for being a part of this 🌸❤️

My Dad, Al Barnett, was an amazing human. We have been stumbling through this world without him now for 2 years. He was many things to many of us. An amazing Dad, husband, Papaw, and friend.
He grew the most beautiful zinnias every year and from his last planting, I started saving seeds. My Dad and I would always have a little contest to see whose flowers were blooming first! He always won, of course, and it was just something we did together, that brought me happiness.
I want to spread a little of Dad's love and kindness around, by sharing these seeds, with anyone who would like them. He was the best of us, generous with everyone that knew him.
If you would like a packet of seeds from his flowers, please message me or comment your address, and I'll send you a pack. This is in memory of my Dad, so there is no cost. I just ask that if you do plant them, to share a picture of them with me, cut them and share them with somebody, even harvest and share the seeds of your own if you like. I'll post a video later in the year of how to do this. ❤️🌸
