Do not do these things. If you think these are good ideas you need to seek professional help.
1. Huge gapping opening for shower controls - nope!
2. Use sticky tape and foam as waterproofing-nope!
3. Let thin set skin over before setting tiles - Nope!
3. Leave shower controls at an improper depth and not securing it - nope!
4. Use epoxy on leaking water lines- nope!
5. Use drywall tape and joint compound on cement board in a shower - Nope!
6. Laying Tile over tile - for the love of god! Nope!

A sculptor was needed on this job in the Parkersburg historic district. There was Extensive water damage to the 100+ year old plaster crown moldings / walls in addition the newer wall paper damage in desperate need of restoration. Custom Hand tools were made along with Urethane molds in order to cast new plaster crown sections and repair and carve new contours on the 13’ ceilings.

Rotten porch post. This is the tenth one I have had to fix in the MOV. I will never understand why anyone would put a load bearing post directly on top of deck board.
It was so cold outside the ants were not marching.

This is a first !
I put this tub to shower conversion in during the month of Feb. Client decided that she wanted the tile changed. This week I Ripped out all of my work and put in all new black tile, rebuilt a new shower seat and had to install new glass due to chipping the original glass when it was coming out. None of it wanted to come out without a fight
