Yesterday I returned to the New Danville Fire Co. to install a replacement PGA timer. While there I also swapped out the cycle timer wheels, these are what cycle the siren on and off because the "new" timer had a different cycle. Unfortunately their phase converter was having some issues so the siren would only activate in for short periods of time. That issue was fixed this morning by one of their members and I'm told the siren now works as it should. Here is a photo of the new timer.

Hello everyone something a little different here.

A buddy of mine is looking to sell a single tone, single phase Model 5. Siren is complete with housing, appears to be in great condition. It also comes with a PGA timer and motor starter. He is asking for $400. Siren is located in Manheim PA. If anyone is interested please contact me.

Sorry there hasn't been adding updates in a while. Back on December 21st I injured 2 of my fingers which cut the tendons going to the finger tips. I had to have surgery to reconnect them. I'm currently going through therapy and unable to use my right hand. This past Wednesday was the 4 week mark from having surgery. I was told about 12 weeks until I'm able to do any heavy lifting and hopefully get back to my full time job.

I have some siren things lined up once I'm able to get back to work. Looking forward to getting back at it.

Been working on the Darley a lot recently to try and get it done. This was supposed to be a backup siren for the company so no time limit was given. However recently their current siren stopped working. Which in a way is good news for the Darley but bad news for them as they currently do not have a siren. I would love to finish this up and see it go back into active service.

I'm in the process of getting parts for their current siren to try and get it back in service as well.

Sorry I haven't posted any updates. I started a new full time job back on the 1st of July and it has taken up most of my time. I've worked on the Darley here and there a few times but nothing really major. Just figured I'd post something to let you guys know what's been going on.

Tried doing a little blasting tonight. The multiple layers of paint will take a stronger media than my glass beads. Also it started storming on me. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day
