The EWG recently dropped its 2026 "Dirty Dozen" π β identifying store-bought produce that tests highest for pesticide residue.
This year's list: spinach, kale & collard greens, strawberries, grapes, nectarines, peaches, cherries, apples, blackberries, pears, potatoes, and blueberries β plus green beans and peppers.
Here's what we love about that list: you can grow almost all of it yourself. π±
π Berry plants β strawberries, blueberries, blackberries π³ Fruit trees β low-chill peach, apple, cherry & pear, picked for our climate π₯¬ Veggie & herb starts β spinach, kale, peppers, green beans and more
When you grow it, you decide what goes on it. No dangerous chemicals β and right now is prime time to get peppers, beans, and strawberries in the ground.
Come pick out a plant or two. Our team will set you up with what thrives in your yard.
