APPROVED! Last night’s Design Commission unanimously approved in a 7-0 vote our new 7-story, 75-unit mixed-use project on Lake Avenue.

Situated on an expansive five acre estate, Re*****on’s contemporary farmhouse style embraces the surrounding landscape with expansive covered porches and stone accent walls that give the home a feeling of security and permanence.

TKA sends our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the wildfires last week. Like so many of you, we have watched in disbelief as our worst fears are realized. The toll this disaster has had on our local community is incomprehensible.

The resilience of the Altadena community in particular has been shown through the immense relief efforts already underway. Tyler+Kelly Architecture is prepared to guide & support the community by collaborating with local 
leadership to ensure that rebuilding efforts align with the needs of the community. We will advocate through the AIA Pasadena-Foothill Chapter to preserve the beloved culture & spirit of Altadena.

In the coming days, TKA will be updating its website and assembling a guide with local resources and contacts of who can best assist homeowners through every step of the process. 💫 We wish you a Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year!

This year was a fun one for Tyler+Kelly Architecture. From Corona del Mar to La Cañada, a number of our clients are cozying up in their newly finished custom homes. Dirt is moving and man-made lakes are taking form at our 2,000-acre master plan in Oklahoma. We are working on a handful of mixed-use multi-family projects too: a 20-unit & a 75-unit in Pasadena, a 58-unit in San Diego, and a 94-unit in San Gabriel, to name a few. We earned a Gold Nugget Award of Merit and also claimed the distinction of Best Architect from Pasadena Weekly for the second year. The TKA team wishes you a wonderful end to 2024 and a great start to 2025!
