Would you like to travel around the beautiful Central Coast, get some exercise, and get paid while doing it? Our family-owned garage door sales and installation company has decades of experience serving the Central Coast. We are currently looking for a full-time skilled technician to provide garage door installation and repair services. If you are a mechanically-inclined person who enjoys building/fixing things, and working on new projects in new locations everyday we’d love to talk with you about joining our team!
The prospective technician will be equipped with a truck and industry-specific tools (employee must provide their own general hand-tools). Work includes spring replacement, opener installation and repair, door installation and repair, on-site sales, and related activities. Locations will be at sites around SLO county including everything from residences to wineries, and does include occasional tips and gifts from our clients! Experience with garage door work is preferred, but we will train the right applicant.
Qualifications
=========
Experience with garage doors or related field
Training provided to promising applicants
Ability to move or lift 70+ pounds
Comfortable working from ladders and on lifts
Ability to read and understand technical instructions
Exceptional customer service skills
A strong attendance record and work ethic
Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Ability to pass drug screening and background check
Must have CLEAN DMV for this position
Must provide own hand-tools
