Small choices can turn a yard into habitat 🌿 A few things I’ve learned:
🍂 Leaf litter gives firefly larvae and tiny insects a safe place to survive.
🐦 Keeping cats indoors during nesting season can make a real difference for fledglings.
🕸️ Leaving some spider webs alone gives birds another food source.
🐝 Bare soil is useful too, especially for ground-nesting bees.
🌙 Turning off porch lights helps moths and other night insects stay on track.
I love this reminder because helping wildlife isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about not removing everything.
