🎶 Music, Dance & Terracotta in Alaska!

At a music festival in Alaska, a group of students created an incredible performance using our Anadolu Pitcher. What started as a simple terracotta pitcher turned into part of the show — used not only for drinking, but also as a vase, a rhythm instrument, and even a dance prop.
It was amazing to see how a traditional Anatolian piece became part of such a creative moment on stage. 🌿
Terracotta is more than a product — it’s part of culture, creativity, and everyday life.

Turkish Eggs with Cured Beef 🍳✨

Ingredients
• 2 large eggs
• 6–8 slices Turkish-style cured beef
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
• Salt, if needed

Instructions
Melt the butter in a small skillet over low heat. Add the cured beef slices and cook for 30–40 seconds, turning gently once. Do not overcook, or the meat may become tough. Crack the eggs directly over the cured beef and continue cooking on low heat. Leave uncovered if you want runny yolks, or cover with a lid for firmer eggs. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.

Tips
• Do not overcook the cured beef, or it can become rubbery.
• Do not let the butter burn, or it may create a bitter taste.
• Be careful with salt since the cured beef is already salty and extra salt is usually unnecessary.

Turkish Kunefe in a Clay Dish 🧀
Crispy, buttery shredded pastry filled with melty cheese and soaked in sweet syrup… this iconic Turkish dessert is pure indulgence 🤍

Here’s the full recipe 👇
🧀 Ingredients:
5 oz shredded phyllo dough (kataifi) (150 g)
3–3.5 oz unsalted kunefe cheese or mozzarella/string cheese (80–100 g)
4 tbsp butter (60 g), melted
2 tbsp sugar (optional, for extra crispiness)
🍯 Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3–4 drops lemon juice
👩‍🍳 Prep:
Shred the kataifi with your hands until loose and separated
Pour melted butter over it and mix well
Slice or shred the cheese
🔥 Instructions:
Grease a small clay dish (or baking dish)
Press half of the kataifi firmly into the base
Spread the cheese evenly on top
Cover with remaining kataifi and press down well
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 15–20 minutes, until golden and crispy
🍯 Syrup:
Boil sugar and water, then add lemon juice and simmer for 5 more minutes
Pour warm syrup over the hot kunefe

✨ Tips:
Using a clay dish helps even heat and perfect cheese melt
Keep heat moderate so it cooks evenly
Use unsalted cheese for best flavor
Syrup should be warm, kunefe hot
Press the kataifi well for a perfect shape

Serve immediately while the cheese is stretchy 🤤
Save this for your next dessert night!
