louis where I held different jobs from auto mechanics, furniture moving and full home renovations including demo all the way through to finish work, I then began work for an ATM company where I thought I would spend the rest of my life and retire. well that all changed when mine and my wife's parents started needing more help. so I quit that job and moved back home to the piedmont area where we we

re close to both of our parents while living back in piedmont I took a job with a local cabinet shop and have been building custom cabinets ever since. but I have always enjoyed doing projects and helping others in the community whether that be lending a hand for a day or doing handyman projects for them. so I have decided that 2023 is my year and have decided to open myself up to provide handyman services to my community. Hey folks! After a couple days of sanding to fix the previous contractor's rough tape and mud job, we're now putting fresh mud on the walls. We're having to make these joints extra wide to cover the previous work and get things as level as possible. While I know it won't come out absolutely perfect, it's going to be a thousand times better than what was there! Once we get it textured and painted, it's going to look great. One more round of sanding and we'll be ready to prime everything. If all goes according to plan, we'll have everything primed by next Friday and ready for wall texture! Progress feels good! 💪

Hey everyone! 👋

So for the next couple weeks, we'll be working on fixing up a tape and mud job that was done by another local "handyman." Unfortunately, his work here is pretty sub-par – and trust me, it's usually really hard to get pictures of drywall issues unless they're THIS bad!

Just want to be clear: This post isn't meant to bad-mouth other people. It's all about bringing awareness and making sure YOU as the customer get the right guy for the job!

Here's my advice – and please take it seriously: When you're considering hiring someone for work on your home, always check references! Ask for them. Look at previous work. Do your homework.

And hey, if you're considering me for any work, I'm more than happy to provide references. I want you to feel confident in who you're hiring!

Hey followers, check this out! 🔨

So we had a customer reach out after their basement flooded - not fun! 😬 They'd already had it all finished up nice before the water decided to show up uninvited. A mold remediation company came through, ripped out the bottom 2 feet of drywall, and cleaned up what they could see.

BUT... when we came in to demo everything down to bare walls (they're getting a waterproofing system installed 💪), guess what we found?
MOLD. Lots of it. Hiding behind the studs and floor plates where nobody could see it! 😳

That first cleanup? Wasn't nearly enough. Good thing we stripped it all down when we did!
Now they're ready for:

Waterproofing system installation
A REAL fresh start
Peace of mind knowing it's actually done right

A customer reached out after last year's tornadoes left their lean-to in rough shape. A massive tree limb had come crashing down, and the damage was no joke!

Our team got to work, carefully disassembling the damaged corner, rebuilding it from the ground up, and re-roofing the structure. The result? Good as new! ✨

🔧💧 EPIC TRANSFORMATION ALERT! 💧🔧

Y'all, let me tell you about the ULTIMATE plumbing challenge we just crushed!

Got the call: "We've got a leak under our rental..." Famous last words, right? 😅

What we THOUGHT was a simple leak turned into a FULL-BLOWN treasure hunt under the house!

This place had been sitting vacant for about a year, and Jack Frost decided to throw a party with those CPVC pipes. The result? A plumbing nightmare that would make most folks run for the hills!
But guess what? WE DON'T RUN! 🏃‍♂️💨

THE DAMAGE:

Broken pipes EVERYWHERE
Over 80 feet of piping that said "I'm outta here!"
Master bath completely down
Kitchen compromised
Second bath? Toast.

WHAT WE DID:
✨ Replumbed the ENTIRE master bath (vanity, toilet, garden tub, AND shower!)
✨ Converted everything to PEX (because we're living in 2024, not 1994!)
✨ Rescued the kitchen sink & dishwasher
✨ Fixed the washer hookup
✨ Tackled the second bath
✨ Replaced multiple faucets
✨ New water valve, new hoses, completely replaced one toilet
✨ Got that insulation back up to protect our beautiful new work!

THE RESULT:
Water flowing, tenants moving in ON TIME, and one VERY happy customer! 🎉

No finished pics because sometimes you're so in the zone you forget to document the victory – plus we had to button everything back up quick! But trust me, it's BEAUTIFUL under there now! 😎

Who says we only work indoors?! This week we traded drywall for hay bales and built this BEAUTY of a horse stall!

Our amazing customer threw us a fun challenge: a 10x10 custom stall with 6ft walls, 5ft gates, and protective plywood panels (because we care about those precious hooves!). And while we were at it, we swapped out that old rusty fence for some shiny new galvanized goodness! ✨
The result? One thrilled customer, two happy horses, and a crew that's ready to tackle ANYTHING you throw at us!

Check out this transformation! Our customer was dealing with frustrating uneven water pressure and worried their pressure tank was on its last legs. After a thorough inspection, we agreed a full refresh was the way to go.

Out with the old, in with the new! We completely replumbed this well house from the ground up with:
✨ Brand new pressure tank
✨ Fresh pressure switch & gauge (so our customer can monitor everything like a pro!)
✨ Upgraded PEX plumbing throughout

The result? Not only does it look *way* better, but it works **perfectly**! 🎉 Water pressure issues? Solved! Customer satisfaction? Through the roof!

New year, new... home maintenance routine? 🎉 (Okay, maybe that's not quite as exciting as "new you," but stick with me here!)

I've been thinking... what if you could just forget about all those pesky little things around the house? You know the ones — those filters that need changing, the tasks that sit on your mental to-do list rent-free for months?

Imagine this: We swing by once a month (or every other month), change your water filters, AC filters, fridge filters, icemaker filters — basically ALL the filters — and you get to spend that brain space thinking about literally anything else.
