-Philodendron warszewiczii

One of those plants that looks almost too wild to be a Philodendron! Native to Central America, this climbing species is known for its huge, deeply divided leaves that give it an almost fern-like appearance.

As it grows, warszewiczii climbs rather than trails, using its thick stem and aerial roots to work its way upward. And unlike many Philodendrons, it’s adapted to seasonal dry periods and can actually drop its leaves during the dry season before coming back with fresh growth when the rains return.

Big leaves, wild shape, and a pretty unusual growth habit—there’s a lot to love about this one!

Hello, Jungle Fam! 🍍

Here’s a little pineapple baby to brighten your day!

Fun fact: Pineapples are actually members of the bromeliad family! They’re native to South America, particularly the region between southern Brazil and Paraguay, before being spread throughout the tropics by people. Unlike most bromeliads grown as houseplants, pineapples produce an edible fruit from the center of the plant after it matures.

Swing by the Jungle and see what tropical treasures are waiting for you today!
