The pool is open….just push on the gate to get in. Saturday there will be a rep from the gate company. He will show everyone how to get signed in. If you would like to download the PDK access software from the App Store you will be one step ahead. For everyone that can’t make it, we will post to this page how to do it. (We have not been shown yet). You’ll still need to sign the pool rules. However, I can send them to anyone. If you can print them out and sign, I’ll accept a digital copy/picture from your phone.

Annual meeting - 5/30 at 10:00am
We would like to discuss the new gate and how it works. This should alleviate all the issues with the card/pin access. You’ll be able to pay dues, sign pool rules and an open discussion if you have anything to address.
As far as the pool opening, we will have it open for Memorial Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) then will work with everyone to get phones hooked up with the new system. Let us know if you have any questions.

The pool is NOT open yet. We have inspection on Monday at 10:00am. New gate system will be installed and we will let everyone know how that system will work.

If we identify the individual responsible for the disgusting behavior in the boys' bathroom, including f***s on the floor and walls, pool privileges will be revoked. This behavior is disrespectful and unacceptable. We will be monitoring pool cameras closely.

Notes from the POA:

1. A friendly reminder to please keep your lawn mowed and maintained in accordance with POA guidelines.
2. We will be beginning the process of opening the pool 5/4. It will take a couple weeks to get it swim ready. I will announce an opening date when we get closer.
3. We also are installing a new gate security system! More details to come regarding that too. We will have a rep at the annual meeting to answer questions. We are finalizing the meeting date soon!

A family that just moved to our neighborhood is missing their cat. His name is Zuko, 11 years old. Black with a few random white hairs due to age. He is wearing a blue collar thats on the scruffy side. His tail at the very end tip feels like it has been broken in the past. (that's if he'll let anybody touches tail he doesn't like his tail touched). His sharp teeth stick out a bit past his top lip, like he's a little vampire. He has an arrogant attitude/entitlement look about him like he thinks he's royalty, but he is super friendly.

I hope to have all invoices out in the next couple weeks. You’ll notice a new payment option. I’d like to clarify that the $25 fee is not assessed or retained by the POA or the Board. This fee is charged directly by QuickBooks for homeowners who choose to use their ACH payment option. It is entirely optional and simply reflects QuickBooks’ pricing for that specific service.

Homeowners are welcome to use other payment methods at no additional cost, including: cash, check or cashiers check.

The QuickBooks ACH option is offered solely as a convenience for those who prefer to pay electronically. There is no requirement to use it, and the Board is not involved in setting or approving the fee.

Also, on several invoices that were emailed I did not change a setting and the due date shows Feb 5 rather than March 5th. Please note, due date is 3/5/26!!

We will start sending invoices out at the beginning of the year. I will send statement to your email if we have one on file. Quickbooks offers a payment option but there is a 25.00 transaction fee if you would like to use that option.
We also are looking for a couple volunteers for the board. Please send a message to standingoaksboard if interested.
