Murray Masonry is proud to sponsor the Organ Concert Series at St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody.

Join us for a special organ performance by Erica Johnson on our historic Hook & Hastings Organ, Opus 937 (1879). Her program, Resonance and Refraction: Lessons of Past and Present, will feature works by Scarlatti, Kuhnau, Stirling, and Ryder, among others.

Set within the remarkable acoustics of St. John the Baptist Church—the largest church in Peabody—this concert promises an inspiring musical experience. A reception with Dr. Johnson will follow the program.

True lovers of music enjoy it in all forms and in all venues, not just music venues or arenas, but churches as well. Lovers of music appreciate the variety of ways in which music is made, the instruments themselves works of art. In the case of the organ at St. John the Baptist in Peabody both points ring true.

The organ is a historic piece of art in itself. The musicians are world class in their genre and dedication to the organ featuring well known composers and expertise any music and art lover would appreciate.

This is a free event with a Free Will offering appreciated to help those (namely my mother) who have dedicated their time to honoring and publicizing the beauty of this magnificent instrument and the music these expert musicians elicit from it.

Thrilled that we were entrusted with the stewardship of this historical treasure. Our work was complex and multifaceted from restoring 300 year old brick masonry (300 to the day!), to installing new concrete foundation beneath the 300 year old brick, to waterproofing below and installing a new handicap ramp, to reinstalling tomb doors that had remained unopened for decades. All under the guidance of the National Park Service and watchful eye of archeologists. Congratulations to Oribaldo, Leo, Joao, Mark, Brad and others who contributed from our team.

A special appreciation for Old North Church & Historic Site for all of your support over the past few years in allowing us to help realize your vision.

We have been honored over the years with the responsibility of preserving some of the most historic structures in the Boston regional area. Historic Landmarks we all learn about in school, see driving through town, or have attended for milestone events like weddings. I am thrilled to see the completion of this project - my congratulations to my team for their hard work and excellence in preserving this important American historical icon. Proceeding with the finish work on new coping at front entrance of Bethel AME Church in Jamaica Plain. This caps off a more comprehensive historical preservation of the facade returning the appearance of the church to it's original.

Proud and grateful to be trusted with this historic preservation project, marking our 3rd at this nationally significant landmark.

This month, we will embark on a major restoration of our historic crypt! This eight-month project includes:

- Archeological examination of the crypt’s contents
- Restoration of the original wooden tomb doors
- Repointing the bricks surrounding our 37 tombs
- Construction of a ramp to improve accessibility

Completed a stone wall recreation at Hale Farm Beverly, matching existing fieldstone granite wall.

Finished a foundation restoration, column replacements, and buttresses installed to support foundation in Salem.

Continued a condo deck rebuild and waterproofing project in Chestnut Hill.

Continued a patio in Salem.

Started a sign project for a school in Peabody.
