Lake Summerset project update! 🎨

This is what real prep and quality workmanship look like. Every section of this home has been scraped, sanded, caulked, masked, and sprayed with care to achieve a finish that’s built to last.

A lot of people see the paint. What they don’t see are the long days of preparation that make results like this possible.

Just one man on this project, and the transformation is coming along beautifully. I’m loving this color and can’t wait to show the finished product once the trim, fascia, and soffits are completed.

4 days in on this Lake Summerset, Illinois exterior transformation and the progress is speaking for itself.

This is a one man crew handling the prep, masking, spraying, and detail work side by side — and anyone in the painting industry knows there’s nothing “easy” about properly prepping T1-11 siding and laying down a fine finish. Every side has to be scraped, sanded, caulked, cleaned, masked, and sprayed correctly to get results that actually last.

The siding is now being brought back to life, and we still have more siding, trim, fascia, and soffit work left to go. A true professional makes it look easy because experience, patience, and passion matter. When you genuinely love what you do, the long days become worth it.

Quality work takes time — especially when it’s done right the first time.

Big transformation projects don’t start with paint… they start with prep.

Out here putting in the real work on this T1-11 siding — scraping loose material, sanding rough areas, and caulking everything properly to make sure this home is ready for a solid, long-lasting finish. Too many people want to skip straight to spraying, but preparation is what separates a paint job from a professional paint system.

Next step: masking windows, doors, and surrounding areas so we can get this home fully prepped for spray application. Stay tuned because this one is going to turn out sharp. 🔥

Back on the road. 🔧🚚

After a full week of downtime, we finally got the truck dialed back in.

Replaced fluids, oil, rear pinion seal, ball joints, control arm—and wrapped it up with a fresh alignment.

$1,800 later and a lot of man hours behind the scenes… but that’s what it takes to keep things moving the right way.

No shortcuts. No excuses.

We’re back at it and ready to roll.
