At Pure Love Carpentry LLC we are honored to be trusted with the complete restoration and remodel of this incredible historic home in Pueblo, Colorado.

Built more than a century ago for a General, this beautiful landmark features three stories plus a basement, stunning original woodwork, ornate trim details, stained glass windows, historic fireplaces, and craftsmanship that is rarely seen today.

Our team is performing a complete interior and exterior remodel while working closely with the historic preservation society to ensure the character and history of this remarkable building are preserved for future generations.

🏡✨ Another Home Being Restored With Care, Quality & Purpose ✨🏡
At purelovecarpentry.com⁠�, we believe every family deserves a safe, beautiful, and well-built home. We are currently completing a full exterior and interior remodel on a home at 2206 W 16th St, Pueblo — and this project needed major structural and weather protection corrections from previous improper construction.

When we removed the old siding, windows, and doors, we found: 🔨 Brittle fiber cement siding installed directly to the studs
🔨 No wall sheathing
🔨 No house wrap or moisture barrier
🔨 Old leaking single-pane windows
🔨 Door openings framed incorrectly
In construction terms… this home was guaranteed to have moisture and efficiency problems from the beginning.
Our team completely rebuilt the exterior the right way by installing: ✅ New wall sheathing
✅ Proper house wrap water barrier
✅ New double-pane Low-E energy efficient windows
✅ New exterior doors
✅ Reframed standard height door openings
✅ Full code-compliant framing and weather barrier systems

We are thankful that we officially passed both our framing inspection and house wrap/build inspections, helping ensure this home is being rebuilt safely and correctly for the future family who will live here.
