The Program will be What would you do? Bring some paper to do some sketching. Also bring a tree to work on and one to show off. This picture is of a Gardenia radicans from one of the members. Please stop in an visit us we would love to meet you!

We had a great meeting on April 14, learning about air layering techniques given by Debbie. She did a great job demonstrating how it is done. Pierre brought in the Yaupon project it is really coming along. Bob and Ben brought in trees for show and tell. Also, a member brought in the Tokanoma.

The next meet is April 14th at 7Pm at the Garden Center on 9th Avenue in Pensacola. The Program will be Air layering techniques by Debbie Neely. The Yaupon project will be worked on.
This is the time to be trimming and repotting. I have so far potted about ten trees many more to go. We welcome new people who have never done any bonsai the group is great at teaching you what you need to know. See you on the 14!

March 10th is the next meeting at 7:00 pm in Pensacola at the Garden Center on 9th Ave. The program will be an auction of items donated by long standing member Jean Jongeward, plants, pots, and books will be auction off. We will also be having a Thread grafting demonstration and the Yaupon Project will be worked on by Pierre. Please join us for an informative meeting.

We had a great meeting on Feb. 10th. The programs were very good, Pierre gave a great prestation on how to make Bonsai soil. He also started a Bonsai project, Anita brought in a tree for Pierre to demonstrate on how to trim a tree. He will be bringing it back each month to work on it, the members and guests can learn from this demonstration. Bob gave a great talk on tool care from sharping to how you can save money by making your own tools. We had a plant auction Bob our other Bob was the auctioneer. If you want to learn about Bonsai, please come to a meeting we meet the second Thursday of the month at the Garden Center on 9th Ave in Pensacola Fl. It's the building on the right when you turn on the street there is a big sign out front. Hope to see you soon Jil.
