For anyone interested, I just posted a video of me upgrading the stock 100ah lead acid battery in our 2024 Thor Compass 24KB RV with a LiTime 12V 230Ah Plus Low-Temp Protection LiFePO4 Battery.
To protect the Ford Transit alternator, I replaced the Trombetta Solenoid and Intellitec BIRD with a Renogy 12V/24V 50A DC to DC Battery Charger with MPPT Battery Charger.
Also included is a LiTime Battery Monitor with Shunt and a solar port for external solar panels. This is the first step in my RV electrical upgrade.
Next step will be adding a 2000W inverter and later upgrading the roof top solar.
