That "remind me tomorrow" button on update notifications is one of the most expensive habits in business IT. Most successful attacks don't use some exotic new trick. They walk through a known hole that a patch already fixed weeks ago, on a machine where nobody clicked update. The fix is to stop relying on people to remember. Patching should run automatically, on a schedule, across every machine, including the browsers and PDF readers and the apps nobody thinks about. If updates at your shop still depend on someone getting around to it, contact us to learn about our managed services.
