I have a few round brushes that fit into a drill- they can be gotten from many sources. They are great for lots of things like carpet spots, bathroom tile etc since they effortlessly scrub far more than your hand can. This vid is cleaning cat debris from carpet using just water- obviously you can use a carpet shampoo for stains as well.

This was a shelf project in a customer’s home. They specified dimensions and placement. Prior to constructing shelves, I made metal supports that mounted to wall framing, along with wood blocking to secure shelving. All mounting and supports are concealed within the hollow shelves to create the floating appearance.

Customer’s shower had some leaking, grout decaying, and in dire need of caulking. Once cleaned, grout lines scraped refilled and caulk redone, it cured leak problem and refreshed the appearance.

I turned on the oven the other day and didn’t notice some pizza remnants in the bottom.
As the oven preheated it created quite a bit of smoke inside the oven- which then of course filled into the kitchen.
Whenever that happens, you want to get rid of the odor asap and also don’t want smoke detectors going off, especially if they’re part of an alarm system.

In short order, shut off heat or a/c so it doesn’t circulate smoke. Next open two windows at opposite ends of kitchen, or whatever room. If there’s a fan available, position it blowing outward through one window- preferably the one farthest from smoke detectors. It’ll pull outside air in the one window and out the other quickly clearing any smoke. It’s simple solution to a common situation!
It’s also a good way to cool the house when it’s not too hot out and cool at night.

This is a simple book case project that I wanted to show. It’s not my original idea or anything, but it’s a great idea!
Instead of the cost to have custom book shelves made for a home office, or anywhere else, these are simply 3 separate IKEA book shelves.
They’re inexpensive but become built-ins by adding front trim. They can be butted together or spread apart to change their dimensional fit, or can be used or fitted in other creative ways as well. For the application in the pictures, it was a simple fit that gave a custom look!

I wanted to point out a great product/tool that I use. I have no affiliation with these other than I own a couple.
These simple Green Works pressure washers are the best.
I’ve used it to death and it’s never let me down- it was $99.00 when I bought it. Added an extension hose for more reach, bought a couple additional spray tips for various applications.
I’ve had other brands, at least 2-3 times that have failed prematurely. If someone asks- this is the one!

Recent project- rescreening a porch. Old screen showing wear- new screen made a big difference to the eye! Not a tough job, just repetitive and working around garden obstacles.
