In a recent project, we built an outdoor entertainment space for this customer by installing a split face retaining wall and a segmented paver patio using large 2' x 2' flagstone pavers with decorative river rock for accent.

We also installed a separate retaining wall to make mowing maintenance easier on the customer around the house.

Lastly, we installed 300' of drainage pipe and did final grading around the house.

A recent project we completed before the heat set in.

This project was a complete removal and re-build install, including:

-Removing unwanted trees, shrubs, and weeds

-Drainage to keep rain water away from the foundation

-Lanavac Grey flagstone walkway

-Setting/Hanging hose reel

-Short berm with Japanese garden plantings

-Complete shrub/perennial plantings

-Drip line irrigation system w/ control panel.

Recently, we had the opportunity to make some major upgrades to this customer's home and curb appeal.

This project included installing a natural stone slab stairway tied into an existing retaining wall and adding more length to the wall.

We also installed a full landscape, complete with natural stone edging, decorative gravel a mix of shrubs and perennials.

Last week, we had to opportunity to improve the curb appeal of a beautiful home in Old West Lawrence. This not only brings beauty to the property but also functions as a dry creek bed, channeling roof water and surface water away from the house foundation, allowing it to flow freely into the front yard and away from the house. Last month we had to opportunity for another unique paver patio and stair project. This project used pavers with a concentric circular pattern for a repeating visual affect. We added a border around the upper landing for additional seating space and a bit of color contrast.

This week, we had the opportunity to completely re-design and build a new median entrance bed for The Master's neighborhood in Lawrence, Kansas.

This project took some planning earlier this summer and finally came to fruition this week.

We really appreciate Pine Landscape Center for supplying all of the construction materials, including; Gravel, Soil, Compost, Dyed Mulch, Mossy-Mountain Boulders, and the beautiful Variegated Gray 5" x 9" natural wall stone.

The fun and multi-textured evergreen plant material was grown locally and supplied by Kat Nursery Olathe Kansas.

This project was a lot of fun and will provide a clean refreshing look to define the neighborhood.
