Fall may be in the air, but we're not quite ready to make our full transition to interior work, quite yet! Every year as the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter, we have to say goodbye to our exterior season and focus our duties on interior projects. With the mild weather we've been having, our crews have been able to continue working on outside projects, like this one. We expect to be transitioning to interior work in the next few weeks, but until then, you can catch us outside!

The crew wrapped up this beautiful, blue bungalow in Perrysburg at the end of last week and it sure is looking cute! While this house may be small, there's still a lot of hard work that goes into arriving at the final product. On exterior projects, we powerwash, perform detailed prep work, and spot-prime before we start applying our finish coat of paint. Nothing complicated, just good practices and hard work from our crew!

What a view! Today we're power washing this beautiful home nestled along the Maumee River. Power washing is always our first step when painting home exteriors. By washing away dirt, debris, mildew, etc., we are encouraging a strong bond between our paint and the home exterior, which is imperative for a durable, long-lasting finish.

Check out this staircase Tim is working on! Here he's applying color varnish to the handrails in order to match the freshly refinished hardwood floor. Rather than replacing these beautiful handrails, we are able to save time and money for the customer by simply refinishing them.

In the second and third pictures, you can get a good glimpse of what the finish looks like before and after we apply color varnish. Clear polyurethane will be applied to protect the color varnish and the stair risers will get a fresh coat of white paint. This front stairway is really going to pop!💥

Here's a before and after of a patio door we just finished up. After North Point Remodeling installed this new door, we stained the unit to match the existing trim, then applied polyurethane as a clear coat over top. This door is looking beautiful, and just in time for the weekend!

Exterior season is in full swing and the crew is rocking and rolling! Check out this beautiful front porch we just completed. Before we arrived, the old deck boards were tore out and replaced by a local carpenter, then our crew applied a premium deck coating over the fresh boards. What a transformation!
