If this breadbox could talk. Oh, the stories it could tell and the little moments it holds from my grandma’s house.

Family Christmases filled with laughter. The days she’d pick me up from school when I was sick and make me a salami sandwich with chips on it. The guys who worked for my uncle’s business coming in for lunch every day because, of course, Grandma made sure everyone was fed.

So many ordinary little moments that I didn’t realize would mean so much someday. This is the piece I remember most from her home.
I’m so happy it gets to live in my home now. A little piece of her house, and so many of my favorite memories, right here with me.

Part 4 of adding my grandma’s pieces into my home and these old 10 + 5 gallon crocks might just be my favorite pieces yet. I love that they’re not only beautiful and full of history, but functional too — perfect for extra storage while adding that vintage character I’m always trying to bring into our home.
