The 4th Annual Folk Around: Appalachian Art & Music Festival is this Saturday at South Side Studios WV from 5-9 PM!

I hosted the first Folk Around in October of 2023, and since it has grown into a community effort that is now coordinated and ran by South Side Studios! Because of this I’m confident this year will be the best and for the first time it’s Free admission! Seating out back is limited so plan to bring a lawn chair 🎨 🍻

My latest mural “Through the Trough”
Located on the side of the South Branch Inn.
📍 Moorefield, WV

This painting serves as Hardy County’s America 250 mural project. 🎨
The mural highlights the South Branch Potomac River, the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad, and all the local wildlife that can be scene will kayaking “Through the Trough.”

Thank you to the Hardy County Commissioners, West Virginia Department of Tourism, South Branch Inn and the Williams for making this project possible.

Mural commission for Dominion Energy’s Mt Storm Power Station and the inspiration behind the design 🎨

For this project, Dominion Energy requested two aerial views showcasing the plant’s transformation from its original state to its current development. Additionally, they wanted historical photographs of the construction process that led to its present form.

I looked through numerous photos in the power station’s archives and selected those that were most visually appealing. I then arranged and blended these images in chronological order to create an artistic timeline that documents the power station’s history.

This week I started a mural for Dominion Energy. This project will capture the history of the Mt. Storm Power Station. 🎨

The painting will span over 72ft. in length and will serve as a visual timeline from the construction of the plant to its current state.
