YW had a big shoreline restoration project this last week at the Lakeside Park in Phelps, WI in partnership with the Vilas County Land & Water Conservation Department and the Town of Phelps crew. I planted over 2,300 native wildflowers, sedges, rushes, and grasses, some provided by a Healthy Lakes & Rivers grant program and the rest donated by Yenny’s Wildflowers. These plants will provide a buffer for clean water, bolster wildlife habitat, and be an anchor for soil stabilization along the world class North Twin Lake for years to come…
