Learn about tree care and planting by participating in a PHS Tree Tenders training. This eight-hour course offers topics including tree biology, identification, planting, and proper care. You will be joining one of the nation’s oldest, most respected volunteer urban tree-care programs. This is a 3-part workshop series taking place through live zoom sessions*.

The Hybrid Basic Tree Tenders Training Series will take place 6PM to 8:30PM at the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships at Drexel University (3509 Spring Garden St, 19104) and virtually during these dates: September 10th, September 17th, and September 24th. Scholarships are available.

Check out the blooming Prunus Accolade Cherry Trees at Grays Ferry Community Council and the Barrett Nabuurs Community Center. These trees were planted in 2022 and are doing great!
