When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.

Being a SAHM is a full time job in itself plus running a small business where the only employee is you!

Balancing our different roles in life has its struggles, I know it has for me. My biggest struggle with being a stay at home mom and running my own business was knowing when to clock out of one job and into the other. I would try to update inventory, schedule events or design labels while my toddler plays with his toys and stays out of mischief as all toddlers do right!?!

Wrong!
I had a cranky toddler who was dumping every toy and book he could on the floor and throwing a fit every time I tried to give him something else to play with. On top of it I had incomplete inventory a list of emails that never got touched and no labels done. This one's an obvious one yes I had to learn to be present with my kids more and not try to consume in work every second.

Scheduled focused time has been a game changer. My mornings run smooth and fulfilling now that my mornings are for my kids. My afternoon is balanced with nap time being a huge help I can do a quick cleanup and then hang up the mom hat and put on the work hat.

Creating a separate space for work where I can go into another room close the door and not be distracted by house work that I could be doing has gotten rid of distractions and the biggest difference for me is that in 2 hour of focused time I can have more completed projects and tasks then I ever could in a busy day trying to work and be mom and clean and play.

My weak trait is I try to do everything at once but I am learning and growing each day I am finding what works best for me and to remind myself I am one person with many hats but I can only wear one hat at a time. Focusing one task and one job at a time you will reach goals faster and more efficiently than trying to juggle everything at the same time.

Does change cause anxiety for you? If you're like me change can be paralyzing at times.

I know it is something I struggled with for a long time until i just had enough.
I stopped fighting against the wind and shifted sails. I decided to embrace each change and stop looking at it as a negative thing. I never expected the flow of change to be something I could accept let alone encourage now in my life.

If you fight against change you hold yourself back from opportunities and new doors will never open leading you to the path that is meant for you. When you open your heart and embrace what is ment for you know everything has its own reason for happening the growth you will experience within is greater then holding on to old baggage any day!

Does anyone else feel like I do!

When you're a stay at home mom there is this unwritten rule where you get to live in comfy clothes and rock the mom bun.

Although there are those days where you just want to dress up a little maybe brush out those knots and look like a functional human and impress your husband,
but today is definitely not one of those days I promise 😆🙃
