When pre-ordering your Lux Aurea, you can choose either a black or yellow beeswax base and the Lux Platina line also comes in the base beeswax color of your choice: an ivory warm white that blends with the metallic leaf, or black - which provides a dramatic contrast.

Each Lux candle takes a great deal of time, materials and care to produce by hand. Though expensive, these objects are like no other candle in the world and remain one of our most sought-after products.
A final note on safety: The Lux line are just as safe to burn and use as our natural beeswax candles - the gold and platinum metals are chemically unreactive with a melting point far above that of the candle flame. You will notice the metallic flakes shimmer and collect in the molten wax pool and on the wick, which is perfectly fine, beautiful to experience and should not interfere with the burn of the candle.
