🔨 Another Backyard Transformation by Mr. Contractor!

Take a look at this before & after! 👀 This homeowner started with a basic concrete landing and an underused backyard. Our team transformed the space with a brand-new custom pressure-treated wood deck, creating a much larger and more functional outdoor area for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the backyard.

For this project, we built:

✅ A spacious new pressure-treated wood deck
✅ New footings and structural framing
✅ Pressure-treated wood railings and balusters
✅ Multiple access points with new stairs
✅ A large, open layout that connects beautifully with the home and backyard

The difference is huge! What was once a small concrete landing is now a substantial outdoor living space the homeowners can enjoy for years to come.

Thinking about adding a deck or replacing an old one? Mr. Contractor has been improving Philadelphia-area homes since 1949. From decks and porches to kitchens, bathrooms, additions, roofing, siding, windows, doors and more — we can help bring your next project to life. 📞 Call Mr. Contractor today for a free estimate!

🏠 From Design Concept to Finished Exterior!

Take a look at this before-and-after! The photo on the right shows where this Philadelphia home started, and the photo on the left shows the finished exterior after the team at Mr. Contractor brought the homeowner’s vision to life.
The homeowner had already worked with a design service to develop a new look for the property. Our job was to take that design from paper to reality—and the transformation was significant.

We completely changed the character of the façade by combining modern horizontal siding, warm vertical wood-look accents, dark architectural siding and trim, and a new coordinated color palette. The contrasting materials add depth and dimension while the dark garage door, black balcony railings and trim, and green entry door tie the entire exterior together.

What was once a fairly plain white-and-gray façade now has a distinctive, contemporary architectural look that really stands out. It's a great example of how the right exterior renovation can do more than improve curb appeal—it can completely change how a home presents itself and add meaningful value to the property. Most importantly, the homeowner is thrilled with the finished project. Seeing a design on paper is one thing. Seeing it become your home is something completely different.
Another project we're proud to put the Mr. Contractor name on.
