Good morning π I woke up to the terrifying news.
Today I am grateful for my local free fridge. As community we are making sure everyone is fed.
I'm grateful for PhillySRA. This group helps feed hungry folks, creates resource shares, is active in harm reduction, and helps folks learn to defend themselves.
I'm grateful for the many biking advocacy groups, locally and afar. Creating safer biking for all.
I'm grateful for Mutual Aid Disaster Relief, WNRC, New Disabled South and many other groups working to care for and support affected communities in their got off need from climate crisis.
I'm grateful for all my local farmers and all the family farms around the world.
I'm grateful for sewists, knitters, crocheters, and other artists that create slow fashion.
I'm grateful for artist, writers and other community members that advocate for a better world. Bringing us together.
I'm grateful for AK, PM and other book presses for bringing us smaller names in writing. Creating a space for people to publish on a personal scale.
I'm grateful for all the graphic designers, artists, illustrators, etc creating visuals for us to feel joy, empowerment and togetherness.
I'm grateful to everyone that comes from a place of love in their heart.
I'm grateful for every moment within each of us that we release fear and live in love instead.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to live in unprecedented times. To be a light. To shine with love.
I'm grateful for this practice that is seeing me out of terror and into joy.
I'm grateful for Mr. Rogers. He's wisdom in many things, including in his gentle reminder to "look for the helpers" and subsequently to be a helper.
