I could see it from the start, this didn’t want to be a living room, it wanted to be the dining room! And we would need to make architectural adjustments to improve flow and visibility to truly turn this space into a destination rather than a pass through.
Is a big wide opening always best? Not in this case where it diverted traffic flow around the future table and ate into wall space in the adjacent living room where we wanted a big piece of statement art.
So we drew out plans, coordinated with trades, selected trims to match arches on the adjacent wall.
We researched hundreds of products and played with dozens of color combinations until we found the mix that was just right.
We conducted several site visits to track progress of framing, drywall, painting and paper.
Obviously watching this stunning paper get installed was on of the stand out moments.
Then came furniture install and walk-through to inspect that everything was just right.
From existing conditions….
… to the completed vision….
To seeing how the family truly enjoys the home… we love every aspect of what we do 💜
