Good Afternoon Everyone. As we come together to bid farewell to My Dad, William (Duke), we invite you to join us for an afternoon of remembrance on Thursday, June 4th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Visitation (viewing) will follow the mass and eulogy at Hancock Funeral Home, 8018 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19152.

Thank you for all of your support during this difficult time.

Dear Friends and Family, I am heartbroken to share that my father passed away peacefully last night at 1:00 AM, exactly one year after his brain injury. He fought so hard through his medical challenges, showing strength and selflessness every day. This past year brought us closer, and I am proud of the man he was. While I will miss him deeply, I find comfort knowing he is now our guardian angel. We want to honor his memory with a proper funeral, but the medical expenses have drained his savings. We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved father, grandfather, best friend, and master plumber passed away at 12:49 am today. Throughout his life, he demonstrated exceptional qualities that made him an outstanding father, mentor, friend and master plumber. After a traumatic brain injury on May 24th, 2025, he showed remarkable courage and determination, battling numerous health issues over a year-long period. Our family's decision to care for him at home was driven by love and a desire to ensure his final days were spent in peace and comfort. His resilience and fortitude in adversity were truly inspiring. His absence will leave a significant void in our lives, particularly in family gatherings where his humor and zest for life were always present. We will cherish the memories of his vibrant personality and celebrate his life and achievements. His legacy will continue to inspire us, and his impact on our personal and professional lives will never be forgotten. The children will deeply miss their extraordinary grandfather. Update on my father. He is still in the icu but is awake and opening his eyes. His color came back to his skin. They took him off the sedation and he is off the antibiotics but he is still on a small dose of the pressure breathing medicine they tried weening him off the medicine to come off the breathing tube but he failed yesterday and his pressure started dropping so they had to bring the medicine back up. They will try again. Please keep your prayers coming, they are working. The doctors can't believe how strong he is.

I am requesting prayers and support from everyone as my family and I face a particularly tough time. My father Duke has been admitted to the ICU due to a serious infection that has caused his blood pressure to drop, requiring medication to keep it stable while he is on a breathing tube. He can not breathe on his own right now. The doctors are attempting to gradually wean him off the medication to determine if his body can maintain stable blood pressure without it. This process will reveal more about his condition. I have had to make several critical decisions, and I hope they will lead to the best outcome. Your prayers for my family would be greatly appreciated during this difficult period. My father is everything to me, and I believe he is strong enough to overcome this challenge.

Duke can really use all the prayers in this world right now. He is in critical condition in the hospital.

Update on my Dad Duke after 2 long hospital stays and 2 separate times in rehab. He is still recovering he is not able to walk yet and his cognitive ability is still not there due to the severe brain injury and surgery.

Dukes plumbing is closed until he is recovered. He is currently living with me and my husband. Please continue your prayers during this long recovery.

We want to thank all of our customers especially the ones that have checked in and we appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers.

Good afternoon everyone, this is Duke's daughter Crystal. I wanted to inform everyone that Duke is in the hospital with a really serious injury. We don't know how long he will be in the hospital but his injury is pretty extensive and will require some recovery time. I thank everyone who has called and that has understand his circumstances as soon as he well enough and healthy he might be back to work but as of now work is on hold. Plumbing is second nature to my father so I'm hoping he is healthy enough to still continue to work but as of now please continue your prayers for Duke as he has a long road of recovery ahead. If anyone has any questions feel free to reach out to me.
