A new space for learning, creativity, and growth ⭐️

We’re excited to share the completion of , a new 141,245 sq. ft. LEED Gold, Pre-K through 8th grade school in Northeast Philadelphia, designed around 21st century learning with STEM-focused learning spaces, natural light, flexible classrooms, and a range of collaboration spaces.

The school supports both learning and creativity, featuring a sunlit Information Media Center (IMC) lined with expansive windows, bright and adaptable classrooms, dedicated music rooms, a dance studio, and a sensory room designed to support every student. The exterior is highlighted by vibrant dichroic glass, adding a distinct layer of color and identity to the building.

At Blackney Hayes, we think a lot about how spaces shape our daily experience, including the landscapes around us. 🌷 For National Plant a Flower Day, we’re sharing some of the gardens our team members nurture at home, adding beauty to our surroundings while supporting pollinators like bees and butterflies.

Located on the corner of Cardinal and City Ave, Saint Joseph's University 's newest residence hall, Sister Thea Bowman Hall, welcomed more than 500 first-year students this Fall.

Step inside the new 220,000 sq. ft. residence hall that features flexible lounge spaces and study rooms, along with a new office for Counseling and Psychological Services. The building incorporates a geothermal well field, efficient mechanical systems, and sustainable lighting to minimize environmental impact.

Our team completed both the architecture and interior design of this new facility, with ADA-compliant amenities and thoughtfully designed spaces that encourage gathering, collaboration, and community.

We were honored to be a part of the ribbon-cutting of the new Thomas Holme Elementary School in Northeast Philadelphia earlier this week.

At 141,000 SF, this school features flexible classrooms, art and music spaces, a media commons, gym + stage, and a dedicated dance studio, all designed to support creativity, collaboration, and community. 📚🏫

Designing spaces where students can learn, grow, and thrive is what it’s all about.

Welcome to the Health Institute at Hardy (HIH) at Mastery Hardy Williams 🩺

A collaborative initiative between Mastery Schools and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, this learning program equips students with the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to excel in healthcare careers after graduation. The upgraded classrooms at Hardy include a Sterile Processing Lab, a Technology Lab, and a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) lab designed to mirror professional clinical settings. Students are also empowered to explore the connections between nutrition and healthcare with the schools’ community gardening beds.

Our team renovated the existing classrooms into mockup healthcare spaces that mimic the environments of real-world healthcare facilities. We are proud to be a part of this transformative and impactful program 💙

The AIM Academy Global Innovation Hub is officially open! 🚀

Designed to empower future-ready learners, this 17,000 sq. ft. Hub offers advanced Robotics and AI/VR labs, science labs, and collaboration areas for the Upper School’s students, educators, and partners to connect and explore big ideas. 📚🔬

Highlights from the Groundbreaking Ceremony at Rowan University!

The Chabad Center will be a new Jewish student center on Rowan’s campus for services and social events. With a proposed total square footage of approximately 21,700 sq. ft., the Center includes dining hall and Kosher kitchen, student lounge, sanctuary, and research library, along with administrative office suites and 8 two-bedroom apartments.

A warm welcome to our new neighbors 🌆 Stateside Brands is bringing its corporate HQ to Center City’s East Market, and we’re thrilled to be designing the new space.

The 34,200 sq. ft. loft-style office will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, a photography studio, and an employee bar with jumbotrons. We can’t wait to see this space come to life! 🙌

Stateside Vodka will relocate its corporate headquarters to Center City after signing an 11-year lease and securing a grant from the city to help with build-out costs.

Proud to celebrate the official opening of the TGR Philadelphia Learning Lab at Cobbs Creek! Our team, including BH’s John Hayes and Chris Stigler, were joined by Josh Shapiro, Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, Tiger Woods, and the many donors and supporters who helped to bring this vision to life, for the official ribbon cutting ceremony in West Philadelphia.

We’re honored to have partnered with Cobbs Creek Restoration & Community Foundation, TGR Foundation, Becker & Frondorf, LF Driscoll, and others on this impactful project within the Greater Philadelphia community where young learners will discover, grow, and dream big. 💙
