Ready?

This deck was tired, dirty, and past the point where cleaning could save it. So we tore it out and started fresh - new pressure-treated decking, clean lines, matched pattern.

Staining is coming soon - the wood needs time to dry out first. But even mid-process, this is already a different deck.

Spraying is faster. We don’t use it on deck boards.

These surfaces take a beating from foot traffic, sun, rain, and everyday wear. We apply stain by hand so we can work it into the wood, control the coverage, and give every board the attention it needs.

Old porch posts. Weak, worn, no longer safe to hold weight.

This deck had that tired, worn-out look - years of exposure had left the boards dirty, faded, and past the point where cleaning alone would fix it.

The call was simple: replace the decking.

We tore out the old boards and installed brand new pressure-treated decking, matching the existing herringbone pattern for a clean, cohesive look.

Here's the part most people don't know: fresh pressure-treated wood needs time to dry out before it can be stained. Typically 2 to 6 weeks, depending on weather and moisture content. Stain it too early and it won't adhere properly - you'll end up redoing the work.

So we wait. It's not a shortcut we're willing to skip.

In the meantime, we clean everything up thoroughly so the homeowner can actually enjoy the space right away. It's not the final look yet, but it's already a massive upgrade - solid, safe, and ready for its finishing coat once the wood is ready.

Good work takes the time it needs.

This deck had reached the point most homeowners dread. Rotted joists underneath, several boards missing entirely, and the ones still there weren't looking much better.

Unsafe. Unusable. Ready to be written off.

This deck needed more than a fresh coat of stain. The structure underneath was failing - we sistered the joists, reinforced the framing, and restored the entire surface from the ground up.

Big job. Done right.
