An Urban Farm constantly developing our past river rock lot into a desert oasis ... located within Phoenix AZ, we currently have 30+ young fruit trees and over 500sq ft of raised garden beds for additional fruit and vegetables.

Amazing the unexpected pollinators sugarcane brings to the yard; bees yes, but I have seen hummingbirds come and go all week (snacking on the aphids and all the sugars involved!) What else do they have to pollinate right now? Barbados Cherries, Jamaican Cherries (neither of which are actual 🍒s🤷🏼‍♂️), tomatoes, all the herbs going to seed, huckleberry and gooseberries … along with all the flower’s in bloom not! Simply Wonderful!

Fresh ultra health smoothie goodies from our Urban Farm ; Moringa leaves, Kale varieties, ‘Egypt spinach’, and Malabar spinach … blend with coconut water and a bit-a frozen berries to thicken up … add some granola on top, and eat with a spoon for a little extra grit to the gut. 💚

Cool little, and littler guys! They glow in the sunlight; wonder how long it takes to fully develop 🤷🏼‍♂️

Birds vs. Urban Farmer ... Round Infinity!!! Part of the fun I tell myself; the adventure, keeps me on my toes, head on a swivel ... Yeah, but it really does suck to loss such treasured fruits of labor, ravaged just days before Perfect Vine Ripening.

Welp, hopefully this 100’x50’piece of bird netting will slow them down ...
