Day 116 — Biofilter is consuming excess nutrients after a storm and we have a green tint to the water now. Usually takes 2-3 days now for the clarity to bounce back. This young biofilter is doing a great job competing for nutrients with the algae. Our NSP’s 1+ years old don’t have these clarity fluctuations as long as they backwash every 4-6 months.

Saltwater pools aren’t chlorine-free. A salt cell uses electricity to convert salt into chlorine.
