Pea gravel may be one of the best yard hacks as it can be drought tolerant and affordable. The rocks keep their color in the sun and help water drain away when it's rainy. They don't trap too much water, which is good. The best part is that these rocks don't break down, but they might sink into the ground over time, which can make water flow better, especially if your soil is thick and sticky. So, you might want to add more rocks every four years to keep things working well.

I had no clue that glass bottles can be collected from recycling containers, processed in a Glass Pulverizer, and transformed into sand and gravel suitable for trails for both people and animals. It can even become soft enough to be used on golf courses!

Picture what’s possible when we turn recycled glass into gravel and sand! With a glass pulverizer pilot program at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, we’re using these materials on gravel roads and horse trails, but we’ve got big ideas for the future.

This rock is known as Puddingstone. Puddingstone is a distinctive sedimentary conglomerate comprised of rounded pebbles or stones within a finer material matrix. It’s sought after as a unique and visually captivating rock formation, it is often considered a collectible. The appearance of Puddingstone can differ in color and composition based on the specific types of pebbles and minerals found within it.

Stretched(?) pebble Barnes Conglomerate float (puddingstone) exposed in a drainage on the northeast slopes of the Santa Catalina Mountains, Tucson, Arizona. There is a hint here, too, of imbrication of clasts; shingling of a deposit of flattened or disk-shaped pebbles or cobbles. The Barnes Conglomerate is from the Dripping Springs Formation of the Middle Proterozoic Apache Group.

A guy stopped to tell me today after seeing my trailer today that he couldn’t believe that my truck was able to pull this many rocks! Honestly I’m amazed too. I swear that Ford is the only truck that can do this, and let me tell you I have tried them all 😁
If ford were to sponsor somebody I’m their guy!

Boulders in the river are nature's sculptures, timeless and steadfast. Carved by the flow of water over eons, they stand as majestic sentinels, shaping the river's course and offering refuge to diverse ecosystems. These ancient giants remind us of the enduring beauty and resilience of the natural world.
