When I tell people I dont have a storefront and sell plants out of my home and markets, everyone asks "where do you store all these plants?!" Here. In my home. We co-exist until they meet their forever homes. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
While owning a brick and motar store sounds enticing, right now, holding a set schedule of hours and worrying about covering rent is NOT something that gets me excited. I am blessed to have a full time job where I get to work from home and thus have an opportunity to convert a spare bedroom into an oasis of greenery.
This also means that I can pass on some of those savings to you!! 💰💰💰
My second most commonly asked question/comment is "thats it?!" (related to low prices) or "I appreciate your affordable pricing" and I LOVE that! Historically, plants have been considered a luxury tied to wealth, social class, and status. I love that I can make beautiful and exotic plants accessible to everyone bc I belive plants are earth's gift to all of us, not just the elite.
So if youre ever in the area (7th street and Thomas) book an apt and come shop my tiny home store! I typically always carry large statement plants that dont make it to my markets and I'll always have fun exotics that I dont like to move back and forth for fear of damaging them.
We're also getting ready to add pots! 😍😍😍 and they are to die for! Stay tuned!!!
