Precious Sunflowers Farm was established in May of 2021. Named after my first horse Precious Morning Babe who was a white Colorado ranger bred appaloosa. I bought her in 2003 and we did many local horse shows and even took reserve champion at a show. Unfortunately when Precious was just 24 years of age she developed moon blindness and melanoma. Precious passed away on January 6, 2016. At the time

she was with another family that purchased her from me but I was able to stable her for a little while again while they had a full barn. When I was younger I use to ask my daddy to drive down this one particular road near where we lived so I could see the white horse. You see I was obsessed with unicorns and I always thought this horse was one. Little did I know at the time but this was actually Precious whom at the time was owned by Mary and Gerald Stone and eventually would be sold to the stable I bought her from many years later. I finally did have my unicorn. Precious was the most calm, fun, gentle and well mannered horse. Of the years I owned her she never bucked, reared or was mean. I miss her everyday and in honor of her we named our sunflower farm after her because she lighted up my life and these sunflowers remind me of the sunshine she gave me.

5 years ago on May 29th Friday was the very first sunflower field 💛. I got this little idea 💡 in my head and now somedays it's like wow I can't believe these sunflowers are here. It's the 6th season of Sunflowers 🌻 and I hope everyone gets to see them. P.s. it's also the year I found the infamous 10mm that mysteriously disappears. 😆
