Growing up in the heart of the Rockies was something special. The mountains buried deep in my bones. My childhood was marked by the change of season. . . the aspen leaves during fall hunting and roasted marshmallows over a bonfire. . . riding horses at sunset and watching the stars dance across the summer night sky. . . nose-diving into a fresh-powder drift for a snow angel. After high school, I met the love of my life at college and moved to Florida. We have lived in five cities in four years and I've had a lot of time to define home. I believe in the power of place and the firm reality that the locations we take residence in do really matter. The community we build. . . the coffee we pour and ice cream we scoop. . . the walks we take. We become part of new places and they become a part of us. This collection of simple wreaths + wall hangings are the journal of my heart. Each grapevine is marked by a story. . . the things I think about when I create them and what I hope to give to you. All of them are inspired by the wildness I've seen in the mountains. May they whisk you away on a stroll down nostalgia lane of where you've been and where you are now. May they take you into meadows and down wooded trails. May they invite the people of your cities into a welcoming space. And most of all - you, my friend -- may you be reminded that home does truly matter no matter where you are and there is a place for you in it. Joy xo
