An office built in reconstituted ebony, with the grain doing the talking.

Every piece in this office is wrapped in reconstituted ebony veneer, laid out in patches with the grain running in different directions. The shifting orientation turns each cabinet face into a composition of its own, adding rhythm and depth across the full run of casework.

The tall cabinet hides the office equipment behind lift-up pocket doors, keeping the printers out of sight when not in use.

The desk brings in a leather insert at the work surface, outlined by white-painted inlays around the top that trace its curves and edges. Custom stainless steel frames at the ends and a stainless steel stretcher give the piece structure, while an aluminum laminate foot caps each leg.

A workspace where function and craftsmanship meet at every edge.

A custom enclosure for a hidden television, set along the hearth and framed against the stone. A sculptural woven panel slides aside to reveal the screen, then closes to return the wall to a piece of art.

Rare veneer, carried through an entire kitchen.

For this new home, we built the cabinetry along with select furniture pieces, starting with a kitchen in Brazilian Rosewood. Harvest of Brazilian Rosewood has been prohibited since 1992, which makes the veneer exceptionally rare, and we were able to source enough to complete the full kitchen. Its deep, dramatic figure carries across every face, from the base runs to the island to the tall appliance walls.

Full-length, top-mount chrome finger pulls run along the base cabinets, keeping the fronts clean and uninterrupted. Just above them, a customized plugmold runs the full length at the top of the base cabinets, placing power where it's needed without breaking up the backsplash.

Lift-up upper cabinets keep storage accessible overhead, including one fitted with a custom aluminum-framed glass door. Nearby, glass shelves are attached to the cabinetry on one side and held by a stainless steel frame on the other, letting them float in front of the window.

At the end of the island, an aluminum-framed glass-door display cabinet with a mirror back and glass shelves brings light and reflection into the composition.

A kitchen defined by a material few will ever see again.

For this home's staircase, we made the stair treads in solid walnut hardwood. The rich, natural grain brings warmth to each step and ties the stair into the wood tones carried throughout the remodel.

A vanity that reaches past the wall and holds its line.

The master bath is built around a custom floating vanity in Etimoe veneer, its long, ribboned grain running across the fronts and giving the room its warmth. The vanity cantilevers past the end of the wall, extending into the room with nothing beneath it, so the casework appears to hover above the floor.

Seen in the shop, the full run comes together before finishing, with the grain matched across doors and drawers so the figure flows from one face to the next. Installed, it anchors the space while the open floor below keeps everything feeling light.

From raw cherry in the shop to a seamless fit in the kitchen.

As part of this home’s remodel, we built a new surround for the refrigerator. Crafted in cherry, it was stained to match the existing kitchen cabinetry so the new work reads as if it had always been there.

In the shop, the bare cherry shows off its grain before finishing. Installed, the surround frames the refrigerator and integrates the adjacent storage and appliance opening into one clean, continuous piece.

New work, made to belong.

Guest baths that float, with storage worked into every run.

Stained cherry carries through these guest baths, tying them back to the library bookcase in the same home. The vanities are wall-mounted and floating, leaving the floor open beneath and keeping the rooms light.

Open spaces are built into the casework for towel pull-outs and trash cans, so everyday essentials stay within reach while the clean, flat fronts and continuous grain keep the overall look calm and composed.

Ebony grain, built around the way the room is used.

This AV cabinet is wrapped in reconstituted ebony veneer, its tight, striped figure running vertically across every face for a clean, continuous look from floor to top.

The TV sits in a custom-sized opening, framed by the surrounding casework so the screen reads as part of the design. Custom speaker grills are set into the cabinet faces, keeping the audio integrated while the dark panels add contrast against the grain. An open display niche above gives the composition a place to breathe.

A library built for the landing at the top of the stairs.

This bookcase anchors an open area on the second floor of a whole-home remodel, wrapping the corner and carrying straight into the stair opening. Cherry veneer and solid cherry hardwood, stained dark for a deep, warm tone that holds its own against the light walls and cork floor.

The open grid gives books, art, and keepsakes their own place, while staggered shelf depths break up the wall and create display ledges at the corners. A continuous base grounds the full run, and an integrated desk ties the reading nook into the same design.
