Here are 4 quick steps to declutter your desk to start your new year off right! #2021

I'm so grateful to have met people like Topher Andrew Overstreet. He just a genuine, kind, and awesome dude, as well as his partner Ben.

Not only did he hire me to organize two of his drawers with my custom inserts, he posted about it on is facebook. I don't think most people realize how much sharing about someones business 1) means to the business owner, and 2) helps the business grow. In the early days of a business it can often be almost, "key word, almost" more valuable than money.

His drawers were probably the biggest challenge yet, and I got to do some diagonal slats which were fun and interesting to play with.

Cooking is something Topher and his partner Ben love to do, and do frequently, it was a nightmare for them having to find a search for the right utensils causing frustration and annoyance. Now however, cooking is going to be so much better because they always know where each utensil is, and where it should go back to!

This makes me so excited because this is exactly why I started uprelief. I want people to feel free and a great sense of relief in their home!

I was graced the opportunity to kill the clutter monster in another drawer! For this one we made his keys, knife, and scissors easily accessible. Now he enjoys opening the drawer instead of just barley creaking it open to access or put his keys away.

This is the first, and not the last edition of iteration drawing. I draw a few versions of the same thing as I work out what it should be. What I drew here is going to be a mount to hold the cup and blade for my Nutribullet to dry on! Im going to 3d print it so I wanted to get a few concepts worked out before I moved into fusion 360. #

Are you the type of person that likes to take on almost impossible challenges?

Someone that loves to take a beating from rejection over and over?

But also...

Revels in the tremendous reward that is bestowed upon you from overcoming the challenges by fighting through the pain?

I'm in search of someone that’s ready to think creatively and tenaciously work to bring something great to life while making some good money.

I'm building a company called uprelief that creates customized home organization solutions that eliminate home frustrations.

Here's a bit about who I'm looking for:

**Skills/experience/qualities desired**

5+years of successful door to door sales

Experience crafting a pitch (not just using the script they give you)

Self motivated

Self starter

Consistent

Kind

Has a wild sense of humor

Driven

Detailed and organized

Team player

Leadership experience

Experience with the Google suite

**Duties**

Consistent daily door to door sell of professional organizational services.

You may eventually build and manage your own sales team.

Help construct the pitch from start to close. (I have elements for you to use, but want your input on how to make it ideal for door to door.)

Identify the best areas for prospecting.

**Agreement**

I'm not particular about when or how you work as long as you can show results. You can close 2-3 a month and only work 4-7 days that’s cool with me.

To start you will just be an independent contractor. There is the possibility for equity and/or full time employment down the road if you’re killing it. I take care of those who really help me out.

I'm here to support you with whatever you need, my goal is to help you be as successful as possible, if you win, I win, the client wins, we all win!

**Compensation**

This is a 100% commission gig. You get 30% of every sale made, and then a residual of 10% on any follow up work purchased by the client.

Price for services rang from $100-$15,000 dollars. But the standard is 1240 per room which is $372 for you.. If you sell a whole house it could be up to $8,680 or $2,604 dollars for you.

**If you’re interested and ready to embark on a fun and challenging journey answer the following questions**

**Info on the business**

My google home was too far away from room, I had to yell and that was annoying. So I decided to create a mount and place it on my wall so now it can hear me from where ever I am in the house. Very excited for this prototype. Just need to figure out a way to make the wire not look like a strand if spaghetti coming out if a bu****le. #

Take your home's aesthetic to the next level with unified containers.

Having containers in my home allows me to store more while maintaining my home's aesthetic. I typically use them to store items like rice, sugar, flour, cotton swabs, and cotton balls, but the possibilities are endless.

Matching containers are a simple and easy trick to make your home feel organized and optimized.

We rely on cords to power our devices and appliances every day, yet they sometimes get in the way of our daily life.

Here are a few tips and tricks on organizing or hiding your cords for a better experience.

1. Label: labeling your cords makes it easy to identify the correct cord

2. Cord-Keepers: add cord-keepers to the back of your appliances to hold a cord not in use.

3. Cord-Covers: hide what used to be an eyesore with a cord-cover.

Everyone has at least one clutter drawer, you know, that drawer that is a completely disorganized mess and somehow continues to go under the radar when it comes to cleaning.

Often times, it's too overwhelming to think about where to start organizing this specific drawer.

Thankfully, I've already tackled this question in my blog post, "Drawer organization, where should I start?"
