Today is a big day for us, we’re officially relocating Lenny Interiors to the Midwest! It felt right to share a first look at one of our most personal Phoenix projects, The Artist’s Casita.
My parents had the idea to add on to our family’s property in the historic district. We wanted to create extra space so my parents could spend winters and spring in Phoenix since my dad had just retired. Because it was our own project, I had a little more freedom to push on texture, color, and form than I typically would. We named it The Artist’s Casita as a nod to my mom. All of the artwork in the space is hers, and being part of that as a fifth-generation creative is something that informed the space. She envisioned early mornings in this space, her and a canvas, with the surroundings being a source of inspiration.
As many of you know, my dad passed unexpectedly in May 2025. He was able to visit Phoenix two weeks before he passed and see the casita finished, which I’m so grateful for. This was something we talked about every day for over a year. Even though we didn’t get to utilize our property in it the way we planned (anyone else dream family commune?) this project will always mean a lot to me. It was something we created together and one of my first completed new build projects as Lenny Interiors.
We’ll miss our Phoenix community, but we’re grateful we’ve built Lenny Interiors in a way that allows us to move and be closer to family while still continuing to work nationwide. & cheers to my Dads life, honoring his legacy and spreading his gentle, kind, and generous nature through
More to come, xx
