Every once in a while you have that one project that is just emotional. This quilt is for my niece Julie. I used the foundation pieced french braid blocks my mom started before she passed in 2007. Julie and I discussed this quilt and she picked out a pattern that she liked using the blocks. I am shipping it today and I hope she loves it as much as I loved doing it for her. They say that the Shoemaker's children never have any shoes. It takes a long while for me to get any wrought iron, but Carlos did an awesome job making our new front door! To be fair he was waiting for me to pick a pattern but it was worth the wait and he fixed the wooden front door at the same time and both close like a dream. 😇 Thanks honey, I love it!
