WOW, we made it to 1,600 followers! Thank you, Amanda!! 🤣

I just want to say I never want to tear another person down.. that’s just not who I am. But please don’t confuse that with me not standing up for myself. No matter how much I grow, I’ll always defend myself and the business I’ve worked hard to build.

If you have questions about what I’m doing, ASK ME. I’m not gatekeeping anything. A lot of people shared their knowledge with me to help me get here, and I’m happy to do the same.

I didn’t Google it or ask ChatGPT and call it good. I called the health department AND the Ohio Department of Agriculture, told them exactly what I wanted to do, and asked what I needed to do to get there. This has been months of paperwork, studying, learning procedures, food safety, and making sure there were no cracks in my plan.

I try to keep things professional, and I won’t entertain someone who only wants to argue or put me down. Assumptions and name-calling won’t get you anywhere with me.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ And I genuinely appreciate everyone who has stuck up for me. ❤️ But I do NOT want or condone anyone bullying or attacking anyone on my behalf. Moving on because we have orders to fill 😉💪

Did you know Fay’s Cottage Kitchen LLC is licensed through the Ohio Department of Agriculture and I manufacture my products out of a licensed commercial bakery? I do NOT operate under Ohio cottage food laws.

That’s why you may see me selling things like cream cheese products, fruit products, candied fruit(which is a separate frozen food license I obtained) and other items that aren’t permitted under cottage food laws. I’ve put a lot of time, money, inspections, paperwork, and effort into making sure everything I do is up to par with both the Health Department and the Ohio Department of Agriculture.

If you have a genuine concern about what someone is doing, that’s one thing. But sending someone to my page who doesn’t even follow my business to tell me what I “can’t” sell, or trying to involve the Health Department because you’re uninformed about how my business operates… is weirdly hilarious. They just tell me I’m okay, & keep truckin’..

As I’ve said before, there’s room for all of us, but this isn’t the way. Trying to set your competition up doesn’t really work when I bust my butt to make sure I’m doing everything I’m supposed to do. I will always support other small businesses, and I genuinely believe we can all succeed without trying to tear someone else down.

If you’re ever genuinely curious about how I’m licensed or why I’m able to sell something, just ask me. I promise I’ve done my homework before putting my name and my business behind it. 🩷

This order definitely had me emotional..

A customer reached out & asked if I could help with something pretty special. She had her bloodwork done, and the results were emailed directly to me. She doesn’t know. Her family doesn’t know. No one knows but me. 🥹 The fact that she trusted me with such a huge, special moment for her family honestly means more than she probably realizes.💙🩷

23 of the cake pops are white inside… Only ONE shows the color of the gender. So now they get to find out together when they bite into the right one. It’s such an honor getting to be a tiny part of moments like this. Thank you for such a memorable order!!👣🩷💙
