Cleaning the bog filter. After two years time to remove the sludge that was a foot thick. Found some baby koi that had hatched after this springs eggs had gone over the waterfall.

Not my favorite way to start a job. I was asked to come in and fix someone's vision they had for a creekbed water feature. They had built the elevated base then couldn't figure out how to make it a disappearing creek bed. First the liner was too narrow so no way to make a catch basin. Lucky I had a remnant from a previous pond build. In 8hrs. I was able to put it all together.
