That time I created an exact replica of an 1860 porch column by HAND. 😃💥👋

Spent a month in 2021 working on repairing my sister's 1860 victorian in Central NY. When it came time for the porch, I found a large amount of wood rot and years of insect damage.

With limited time and inability to access certain tools, I had to make-do with what I had. It took some imagination and skills, but I was able to carve the exact shape to match the other columns. ✨️
