Been busy with a remodel. Totally remodeled laundry room. Painted kitchen, ceiling, walls, installed new trim,built cabinet and custom made a few cabinet doors. Placed wainscoting in kitchen. Then to dining room... Painted dining room ceiling, cabinets added wainscoting in dining room, with new trim. What a transformation. We are in process of building a handicap ramp, remodel of living room and two baths. So stay tuned.

Well while taking and awaiting upon our next deck project to start we are working on Christian Yard Crosses. I was really taken back by the issue of one man in King causing such havoc over a statue and Christian Flag that it caused me to take on a cause. I feel that I being a Christian and American have loss my right to Freedom of expression, Freedom of Religion when I am no longer able to believe what I believe due to someone else's beliefs. I have posted a photo of the proto type of the cross and shared on many of the local yard sale pages. Many had positive remarks and the proto is coming along with 10 sold in one day. I believe that Christians have been persecuted throughout the years in history and continue such even today. With out God I feel we are nothing but in existence that is my point of view yet never would I take and remark on someone else's point in a negative way. It is sad to me that one person remarked he is going to make pentagrams 4ft x 4ft out of scrap metal for free to those who want to oppose Christianity and the signs of being a Christian for Stokes County. Yet if this is his point he will answer for it. It is not my place to judge but to continue on my plight to take and get as many of these crosses out. I would love to see one in every local Christians yard to make the point that yes we are Christians and yes we are not afraid to display so for the world to see. I am not looking for profit, I am not looking to stir trouble, I am just taking and trying to make this world a little better in times when all are in some struggle in this world. I thought it would be inviting to come home from a hard days work and pull into ones yard and see the cross, something to bring soothing thoughts at the end of ones day prior to entering your homes. I pray this will take and get off the ground and that I will see my crosses in many of your yards and will bow my head and give thanks to the Lord for the talent he has shed upon me to be able to create with my hands as Jesus once did. With all this said I am wishing everyone a wonderful Friday and coming weekend and please feel free to share my post of today along with the photo of the first 2 crosses to be delivered today.
