The one that started it all! π
Pilea Peperomioides or The Chinese Money Plant!
This is the plant that made me fall in love with houseplants when I got it in 2019. (First pic)
Today, she got the chop, after giving me countless baby plants and growing over 3 feet tall, the last couple years she was starting to decline. I kept her in the same ceramic purple pot since day one and today her rootball was repotted back into that same pot. The top was planted into soil to see if she will root as-well.
The last three slides were taken today; before the chop, video of the chop and the new Pilea fam that was born today. I never would have guessed my love for this one plant would lead to having over 100 houseplants and change my life completely.
